Eh? No updates for a few days?

Well, no. But that's because I'm plotting. And scheming. I want to work out in my head exactly how to move the website forward. I'm also planning out a fantastic article about some moronic moderators from a (now defunct) forum I was once I member of.

It's a good story, and thanks to a contact on the inside, I got sight of a few threads I shouldn't have in the moderator's section. (Actually, s/he sent me the whole lot)

I will be using these as illustrations. To prove several very valid points.

In other news, I stumbled across a link to a piece of my history. About 7-8 years ago, I started playing Rugby League. I wish I still did, I want to get back into it. But I found the website for my old team, Adlington Rangers. They've got a forum, and I posted a few select pictures on there of the times I was in the team. I'm going to send them some videos soon, hopefully.

Anyway, back to the present, I've started exercising. Lateral Thigh Trainers are cool, and I've got some weights /exercise bands to start working on my strength and fitness. Well, I want to be able to keep up with Caitlin when she's bigger!

Time to go. As they always say on the Wrestling section of Sky Text - Peace Out!!!!!

Finally. Retro Action is available

Aye, it's about bleeding time. I've been slaving away over a keyboard writing these articles to get the Retro section off the ground, then spent nearly as much time again typesetting and getting images to go with it. At least now, the articles actually look kind of how I want them.

All I need to do now is come up with a menu and its hierarchy, and Robert will be my mother's brother. No, it's a figure of speech, it's like "Bob's your uncle"... Oh, never mind.

Anyway, they're there. They're up. And I'm happy. I've already had a bit of a nostalgia trip in writing them, so much so, I wanted to play them again. I'd forgotten how good Pinball Dreams and Fantasies actually were!

Onwards, then.

I have a new favourite ever photo of Caitlin. It's right here, to the right of this paragraph. I'm sorry, but she looks so cute, I asked her to smile for the camera whilst holding "Toby", and she did, she struck this pose, and gave me the best smile ever. Bless her little cottons.

As I write, she's fast asleep. As she should be at 1am. Strange, she seems less of a troublemaker when she's asleep...

However, I do feel the need to complain about the standard of children's toys in this day and age.

I mean, seriously. What is the point of supplying one "i" too few to make "Antidisestablishmentarianism"? It's not like I'm trying to spell "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis". Blimey. I use Antidisestablishmentarianism at least every other day.

(Cue the Wayne's World-style "Not" at this point.)

Still, the j can just about pass for an i. But only just.

Another weekend, another update

I'm saving myself here. Tomorrow is going to be a big update. Expect to see lots of retro articles start appearing.

The family's fine, I'm fine, everything's fine.

Even the weather. Makes a change.

Normal Vison is Resumed

So, I'm over the conjunctivitis now. Well, no, I'm not, I'm over the worst of it. My eyes are still a nice shade of red. Add a goatee beard and a couple of horns to my head, and I could probably pass as jaundiced demon of some description. No, really.

It's cleared up in my right eye, which had it quite bad, and at some points it was quite painful, but now it's in my left eye, forunately it's been barely noticeable.

Anyway. I digress. Caitlin hasn't been well the last few days, she's had a bit of a cold, a little bit dopey and cuddly, but she seems to be over the worst of that, too. I don't know, I guess this is what happens in a tight-knit family, somebody gets something, we all get it. It's just a fact of life.

It could be worse. It could be Gastroenteritis. Again. Now that's something you want to avoid.

Right, website updates... the 2006 catch up is online, sans rhethoric. I will be writing that tomorrow. Hopefully. In the meantime, I've been working on MANY MANY articles for the retro section. I will be getting them online once I'm right up to date with the pictures. I have articles in mind for the Rugby and WWE sections, but I'd like to write my piece on stupid moderators... based on events that happened on www.bullrage.com. As you can see, it's redirecting to something new, I can't wait to get stuck into that.

So for now, you can view the 2006 catch up pictures, and if you want to know what each picture actually is, you'll have to wait till tomorrow. Patience is a virtue.

Man. I suck at writing blogs.
